1st UDK.AI Symposium on and with Artificial Avatars

Outcome

A symposium during which "artificial avatars" (AAs) of Your making will discuss with us humans the question "What is art ?"

Synopsis

DAY 1 :: 6.1. :: Introduction of main concepts (avatarization, generative AI) introduction of technologies (language models, Loras, retrieval-augmented generation) & tools (Flowise, text-webui) we will use.

DAY 2 :: 7.1. :: Introduction of additional tools (Unreal engine, voice cloning). Group formation. Bringing an exemplar AA into existence.

DAY 3 :: 8.1. :: Bringing other AAs into existence

DAY 4 :: 9.1. :: Making AAs communicate among themselves & with us, room preparation

DAY 5 :: 10.1. :: 1st UDK.AI Symposium on Artificial Avatars

Die Ausbildung an einer Kunsthochschule findet in einem grundlegend anderen Umfeld statt als an„traditionellen“ Universitäten.

Digitale Bildung ?

Digitale Bildung wird als Vereinigungsmenge zweier miteinander verbundener Teilmengen definiert: ‚Bildung mit Digitalem‘ und ‚Bildung über Digitales‘.

Personal Primer

Das Personal Primer, auch Fibel genannt veranschaulicht die Verschmelzung von Bildung-mit-Digitalem und Bildung-über-Digitales innerhalb eines konstruktionistischen Lernrahmens. Studierende mit unterschiedlichen Hintergründen, darunter Design, Elektroingenieurwesen und Informatik wurden eingeladen, interaktive Lesegeräte für jüngere Kinder zu entwickeln, die sich am Beginn ihrer Leseentwicklung befinden. 

Kernkonzept: Erfahrenere Studenten gestalten / programmieren Bildunginstrumente für jüngere Schüler.

Altruistischer Konstruktionismus

Altruistischer Konstruktionismus oder Altruistisches Lernen ist ein didaktischer Ansatz, der Lernen-durch-Schaffen-für-andere betont. 
 
In diesem Modell erschaffen Lernende Artefakte nicht nur zumeigenen Verständnis oder zur Bewertung, sondern mit der expliziten Absicht, dass diese Artefakte die Lernprozesse weniger erfahrener oder jüngerer Lernender unterstützen werden.

Curriculare Überlegungen

Im Kontext einer Universität, in der das Wort „Wissenschaft“ auf andere Art & Weise verwendet wird, wurden andere, subtilere Wege zur Einführung von „Informatikbildung“ in den Lehrplan als notwendig erachtet.

Plädoyer für Lehramt Kunst und Informatik 0.

Die Trennung zwischen künstlerischer Praxis und informatischer Ausbildung ist nicht länger haltbar: In zeitgenössischen kreativen Bereichen beschäftigen sich Künstler zunehmend mit Datenstrukturen, Algorithmen, Modellen, informatischen Artefakten u.s.w. als integrale Bestandteile ihrer Arbeit.

    1. I will now upload photos of the attendance list of my students. It has three columns (name, study program, email address). Transform it into a CSV file or a table I can then use as an Excel sheet.
    2. Now I uploaded the second attendance list from the second session. If the name already occurred (e.g. Levenshtein distance < 4 ) on the first one then mark the attendance as double attendance. Otherwise, it's only one attendance. Ultimately, create a CSV with two columns for attendance merging the first and second list.
    3. Question: Is this GDPR-compliant ? Or should one use mistral-ocr ? Or only Tesseract ?

Within each AG, please choose one "Protokolant" and one "Speaker".

Ultimately, each AG should create an Umfrage (e.g. question and small set of possible answers / options) addressing Your AG's topic which the workshop and/or wider UdK2030 plenum can help You to answer.
