Minute of Silence

On Feb. 11, Ukraine's parliament passed Bill No. 14144, formally establishing a daily nationwide moment of silence at 9 a.m. Kyiv time.

To show respect towards this decision and to keep alive memory of all those murdered, killed, tortured, injured &c. for unjust reasons during all senseless wars and atrocities of the past, present, and future, the counter for minute of silence is hereby activated in this room.

Thanks in advance for not disturbing this contemplative process.

The Piano String Analogy

22.10.2026 · AE561022

A piano string is, again, a pendulum in disguise — just a vibrating one instead of a swinging one.Short, thin, tightly-strung strings (the piano's high notes) vibrate at a high frequency. Long, thick, loosely-strung strings (the low notes, wound in copper wire) vibrate at a low frequency.Short and light vibrates fast; long and heavy vibrates slow — the exact same rule that separated a hummingbird's wing from an elephant's leg.
